A family business in the forests of southern Sweden
The tradition of floor production on our family farm has been passed down since the 17th century. It now has evolved from forestry, into a business focusing on solid wood flooring. In 1988 the farm owners Ros-Marie and Manne Andersson gave one of their sons a computer, while the other was given a hand plane. This was the beginning of Fredrik Andersson’s career of wood processing and development, which led him to start Kullaberg Flooring in 2000.

The tradition of floor production on our family farm has been passed down since the 17th century. It now has evolved from forestry, into a business focusing on solid wood flooring. In 1988 the farm owners Ros-Marie and Manne Andersson gave one of their sons a computer, while the other was given a hand plane. This was the beginning of Fredrik Andersson’s career of wood processing and development, which led him to start Kullaberg Flooring in 2000.
About us
Since childhood, Fredrik has loved working with wood in various ways. It’s not surprising that he chose to study forestry with a major in wood technology. In addition to the solid wood floors business, Fredrik has also supported IKEA the last two decades. Primarily with development of their woodwork, including technology, materials, and quality.
Fredrik’s partner Sandra also works with the family business. She is primarily responsible for sales, marketing, and administration. As an engineer she also has work experience at IKEA, where she worked in project management within material development. Problem-solving, structure, and willingness to collaborate were essential to achieving desired results for IKEA. Qualities she brings to Kullaberg Flooring, to ensure you as a customer that you receive the service and results you desire.
Another key person is Edvardas, responsible for the plank floors production, always passionate about his craft. He has worked in the company for a long time, and his experience can be seen in the quality of your floor.
Of course, there are many more people involved in the business, from carpenters to mechanics and farmers, including fantastic and competent individuals like Josefina, Bengt, Jimmy, Nabi, Jawad, David, Henning, and Tommy. Most of us also live in the same village or nearby.
We are also proud of our collaborators. This includes everyone that contributes with, for example, supplementary sawing and the laying of floors, to fine carpentry beyond our plank floors.

Sweden’s longest and widest plank floor
We offer something beyond the ordinary – Sweden’s widest and longest plank floors. Solid plank floors up to 12 meters long and 50 cm wide. Most of the trees used for the floors are sourced from castles and estates where the quality of each wood species is at its best. Your solid wood floor not only looks good when it leaves our production, it will remain good-looking for many, many years to come.
